Seattle Temple

Michael and I went to the Seattle Temple together. We got there before 12:00 but by the time we got to the chapel, we missed the session. We had to wait until the 12:30 session. As we are sitting there, a nice man makes the announcement that this session will be played in spanish and there will be headphones for those needing english. Also, there would be subtitles on the T.V. screen. I opted for the subtitles, but I don't recommend it! The words were going so fast I didn't get to see any of the movie! It is amazing how much you realize you don't hear until you read the whole thing! So, we sat through an entire session in spanish. It was an interesting experience, fortunately we were allowed to do the end in English! I was very relieved! When we got out to our car, there was a small note that said thank you for coming to the temple (in spanish) from a spanish ward primary!

Happy Birthday Allie

We had a small party for Allie's 2nd birthday. Aunt Kris came over and we had cake and ice cream. Allie was so cute opening her presents, she kept saying "WOW, Cool!" every time she opened one. Even when she unwrapped one and it was a box, she said wow, cool! We had to tell her to open up the box, she thought she was finished. We put candles on her cake and I lit them, she looked at me like I was crazy! I told her she got to blow them out, so she was okay with it then. She isn't much of a cake eater, so she mostly played with it, but overall she stayed pretty clean. We are so grateful to have Allie in our family. She brings us so much joy and laughter (because she is hilarious) and we can't imagine our family without her! Happy Birthday Baby Girl!

Michael and Emma went to Activity Days in Michael's parents ward. It was a Luau. They ate fruit and learned Hawaiian dances. They had fun together.

Allie's Fat Lip

Allie was running at Grandma's house and she fell and hit the leg of an office chair. She severed her frenulum (all of my kids have done that now) and got a really fat lip! Poor sweet girl!

This is the sunset we saw as we were driving through Oregon on our way to Seattle. I know my posts aren't in order, but at least I'm getting them on!

At the Lake
