Poppy Reserve

Today we drove out to the poppy reserve. This is the first time we have been there. It was BEAUTIFUL! It is such a brilliant orange color! You can see that the hills are orange from 15 miles away. We had a lot of fun walking around and trying not to step on any flowers. We spent an hour and a half there, looking, smelling, and taking photos. Who would have thought that you could lose track of time just looking at flowers! The kids loved it, they just wanted to keep walking farther and farther! It isn't very far from our house which is nice because a woman there told us to come back in two to three weeks and the flowers will have tripled! Most of the poppies are orange, but we found a couple of yellow ones. A couple, meaning literally 2 or 3 out of all those flowers!
